HearmonyPrivacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Hearmony app for iPhone (“Hearmony”, “the app”) and this website collect, why, and the choices you have. Hearmony is made by Muhammed Emin Tatlı (“we”, “us”). If you have a question, email contact@tryhearmony.com.
The short version
- You don't create an account. We never ask for your name, email or password.
- Your lessons, progress and settings are stored on your iPhone.
- We use a random app ID and usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to fix problems.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
- Hearmony doesn't use your microphone, contacts, photos or location.
Information stored only on your iPhone
Your lesson progress, XP, streak, badges, energy, daily goal, answers to the onboarding questions (such as your instrument and goals), reminder time and app settings are saved on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Please don't include personal details such as your name or contact information in written feedback. If you'd like a reply, email us instead.
Payments
Subscriptions are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card or billing details. Apple's privacy policy applies to your App Store purchases.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Hearmony schedules practice and trial reminders on your iPhone. They are created on your device and you can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
No advertising or cross-app tracking
Hearmony shows no ads and doesn't ask for permission to track you. We don't use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and don't share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it in the United States, the European Union or other countries where they operate, with the safeguards described in their policies.
How long we keep data
Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in Google Analytics and then deleted automatically. Feedback messages are kept while they help us improve the app. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide your subscription and meet legal and tax obligations.
Your choices and rights
- Deleting the app removes everything stored on your iPhone.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Email contact@tryhearmony.com. Because we don't know who you are, we may ask for details that let us find your data, such as the date you sent feedback.
- You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We process data on the basis of providing the service you asked for (purchases, feedback) and our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the app (analytics).
Children
Hearmony is a general-audience app and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
This website
tryhearmony.com is a static website hosted by Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes we'll also let you know in the app.
