Terms of Use

Last updated: October 9, 2026

These terms apply to the Hearmony app for iPhone (“Hearmony”, “the app”) and this website, made by Muhammed Emin Tatlı (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Hearmony you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). If these terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA applies to the licence to use the app.

1. The app

Hearmony is an ear training app. It teaches you to recognise pitches, intervals, chords, melodies, rhythm and keys through short lessons and games. Hearmony is for learning and entertainment; results differ from person to person and we don't guarantee any particular level of musical ability.

2. Free and Pro features

Hearmony is free to download. Some content, such as the first adventure and the theory side quests, is free, and lessons use energy that refills daily. Hearmony Pro, an optional subscription, unlocks all adventures and unlimited practice. We may change which features are free or included in Pro; we won't reduce what an active Pro subscription includes during the period you have already paid for.

3. Subscriptions and payments

4. Your use of Hearmony

You may use Hearmony for your own personal, non-commercial learning. Please don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, interfere with its services, or use it to break the law.

5. Content and ownership

The app, its lessons, characters (including Fen the fox), artwork and code belong to us or our licensors. The songs in Song Studio are public-domain classics and traditional songs. Instrument samples are used under their licences, which are listed in the app under Settings → Acknowledgements.

6. Feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Hearmony without any obligation to you.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Hearmony running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change or stop parts of the app. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Hearmony is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
